Impressions of Waves

Sitting on the shore, I watch the warm red glow of the sun just above the horizon.  The crest of each wave seems to glisten with the last radiance of day, captivating my mind with its gentle rhythmic pulse... My eyelids have become heavy and my feet are lost in the sand.  I am at peace for these few moments, just before night falls on the sea.

Waves is a fascinating look at how the mind is able to perceive an image, and in real time, translate that scene into music.  It was simultaneously composed, performed, and recorded.  No stopping.  No editing.  This piece is exactly as it was originally conceived, at the very moment each note was born.
